Road map for the implementation in Belize of the Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean (the Escazú Agreement), was adopted on 4 March 2018 and entered into force on 22 April 2021. Belize became a Party to the Agreement on 5 June 2023.This implementation road map was developed in line with the decision of the Conference of Parties that such guidance should be produced with the support of ECLAC and following consultation with the public, Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
