PAHO Annual Report 2025 - Belize

In 2025, PAHO/WHO supported the Ministry of Health and Wellness and other partners to improve the governance, resilience, and preparedness of the health system in Belize. This collaboration was guided by the Country Cooperation Strategy 2023-2027. Outcomes included the greening of six health facilities, enhancement of tobacco control and mental health services, strengthening of NCDs and disease elimination initiatives, and capacity-building for health-care workers in intermediate field epidemiology.
